At Deliverance Driven Ministries, we believe that some of the most meaningful ministry happens around the table. Through Dining in Discipleship, we’ve seen how a simple meal can open the door to healing conversations, restored hope, and divine connection. Just as Jesus often ministered over food and fellowship, we follow His example, sitting with people right where they are, sharing love, laughter, and the truth of God’s Word.

Our Mission and Purpose

Dining in Discipleship was created to meet both the physical and spiritual hunger in our community. It began humbly — with the money in our own pockets and food from our own kitchens — but it quickly became a movement of compassion.

This program provides meals, encouragement, and genuine fellowship to individuals and families in need. But more than that, it creates a space where people can experience the warmth of God’s presence, the power of His Word, and the kindness of His people. Every meal shared becomes an opportunity to remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

A Morning to Remember

Today, with the generous help of Lamar’s Donuts and Luca Bagel Co., our team gathered for another Dining in Discipleship morning — sharing fresh, filling breakfast with Jeremiah, a friend of our ministry, and his buddy.

Over bagels, donuts, and even a few McDonald’s orders (by special request!), our team sat together, talked about life, and reflected on the goodness of God. It wasn’t just breakfast — it was fellowship, laughter, encouragement, and faith shared over food.

Moments like these remind us that ministry doesn’t always need a pulpit — sometimes it just needs a table, a warm meal, and a willing heart.

How You Can Help

What started small — with what we had in our hands — has now grown into something that touches hearts all over our community. But to keep Dining in Discipleship going, we need the continued support of faithful partners and donors who believe in this mission.

Every dollar helps us provide more meals, more moments of ministry, and more hope to those who need it most. There are so many more Jeremiahs out there — people who simply need someone to sit with them, listen, and remind them that God still cares.
